“History does not vanish. It settles.”
Welcome to Veilwalks.
This space is reserved for collaborative storytelling — for those moments when two or more Archivists choose to step together beneath the Veil and immerse themselves in a shared fragment of Azeroth’s layered past, or present.
A Veilwalk is not time travel. We do not fracture the timeline, nor do we seek to undo the work of Order. The world stands as it stands. It is also not an attempt to rewrite canon. The Archivum does not challenge what is recorded. We acknowledge that the Titans prefer their histories clean, cohesive, and stable.
A Veilwalk is something quieter.
It is an exploration — a deliberate descent into the impressions left behind when an age settled and Order clarified its record. Every upheaval leaves residue. Every great turning of history leaves behind a slightly different memory of what was lived, what was believed, and what was felt. When an 'expansion' ends and the world stabilizes, the record grows sharper. Certain edges soften. Certain contradictions harmonize. And yet, beneath that refinement, earlier textures remain. Veilwalks allow us to step into those textures together.
Through shared writing, recorded scenes, and collaborative storytelling, we explore fragments that once stood clearly before the Veil settled over them. These are not alternate worlds. They are preserved impressions — layered truths that existed in their moment and linger still.
Here, we gather them.
Here, we preserve them.
Here, we remember.

WHAT BELONGS IN VEILWALKS
Veilwalks may take several forms:
• Post-by-post collaborative writing
Slow-burn scenes written together over multiple replies.
• Recorded in-game RP logs
Edited or lightly formatted transcripts from in-game roleplay.
• Discord RP sessions
Archived threads or curated scene captures from Discord.
• Short collaborative fragments
Brief, focused scenes exploring a specific moment or interpretation.
If two or more Archivists are writing together within a shared narrative space, it belongs here.
---
WHAT A VEILWALK CAN EXPLORE
• A specific expansion-era setting
• A historical event viewed through a different cultural memory
• A contradiction in lore approached respectfully
• A “what was remembered differently” scenario
• A quiet character moment in a layered age
There is no single required format.
There is no required length.
There is only collaboration.

TONE & PHILOSOPHY
Veilwalks are not debates about canon.
They are creative explorations of memory.
The Archivum does not declare one version “true.”
We preserve fragments.
When posting a Veilwalk, consider including:
• The era or age being explored
• Participating Archivists
• Whether the scene is open or closed to additional writers
Beyond that, let the fragment unfold naturally.

WHY WE ARCHIVE THEM
In-game scenes fade.
Discord threads scroll away.
Veilwalks ensure those shared moments are preserved — recorded beneath the Veil so they may be revisited, studied, or continued.
Every collaborative story strengthens the Archivum.
---
Step lightly.
Write deliberately.
Remember fully.
